Hello, I thought someone else might want to see this.

I've had several sets of pickups in my very resonant strat in the 11 or so years it's been my main guitar. Nothing seemed to be able to keep up with it.
I love my strat to pieces (a lucky amalgamation of components), but I've always preferred the sound of teles.
In fact, before this, I always had the middle pickup disconnected or removed and a 3 way switch wired like the one in a tele - not a strat (just don't personally like the sound of the quacky 2 and 4 positions on the strat's 5-way switch – they're just not for me). Trem is blocked as well.
I saw this Lace Sensor-loaded pickguard on ebay recently and I had to have it. I've looked for this kind of thing before to no avail.

It does look strange, but it's the best that strat's ever sounded...or looked, in my opinion.Though to look at it, it still feels like I'm hallucinating or something.

They sound twangier than I thought given the lukewarm reviews I've read about these pickups. I'm very, very pleased with them.
