Is the "Tele-Technical" forum irrelevant?

Hey guys,
I understand the concept of separating the general "Telecaster Discussion Forum" and the "Tele-Technical", but I can't help but get the feeling that alot of the time, similar information is spread across the 2 areas, when I feel it could be consolidated perhaps in the "Telecaster Discussion Forum". I just flicked open the "TDF" and found a few posts about bridges and other hardware, which I also happen to find similar threads in "Tele-Tech".

I personally do feel it is probably a little confusing as to what should be discussed in what areas.

Just a thought that I have had as I have been browsing around for information on things.

Thanks everyone who contributes to this forum...its probably my favourite place on the net!

Do what I do I just always open today in the TDPRI and get the results from every forum that way you kinda get a mix of everything. When you go to post something just look at which forum you think suits it best. If you post it in the wrong one the mods will move it for ya anyway....

Probably. But we have no plans to do anything about it. Some folks prefer the smaller nature of TT.

The history of that forum goes back a whole decade. It's in our DNA.

I love Tele-Technical. It's one of my must-visit forums each day. I think the main Tele forum could get overwhelmed by such niche threads as swapping bridges, wiring, etc...

I think of the Main Discussion forum as being about entire Telecasters. The Tele-Tech forum is about specific parts of Telecasters.
