They have some stock of these in Vintage and rare on denmark St, going for around £500 incl case.

I played two of the parlour sized resonators, super comfy body and really great tone! I sold a 30's national style O some 7 years ago and vowed never to buy another but was drawn to the cute sizing on these. Full length scale and oozes Chris Whitley esque charm and sounded and played great, so much more character that any full size model I have seen in the past. Consider me sold. I would have taken it home there and then had finances been viable, but in time....

I've heard that Johnny Winter described the resonator guitar as "a garbage can with strings."
That's why we love them!!

Winny, you didn't like your National O? I kinda have my eyes open for a metal body reso....

Check out the resonators from Busker Guitars.

www.buskerguitars.co.uk

The MM models are based on the specs of vintage Nationals with huge necks.

I have a nice MM Blues 14 fretter

And a Busker Cannon parlour sized one

Me Bro got one a couple of weeks back and is very happy with the "Republic" and short of paying the full wack for a National/Dobro which cost about four times as much it is
a really fine instrument and a whole lot better than the old Regal jobs....excellent for a
bit of fingerpicking and slide and for all your Delta blues needs.

Winnie, were You shocked by it's Tone?
I really dig Republic Resonators.
One'd look perfect out in The Barn - like it'd been there for decades.

There's also a high-end Czech Tricone with a ton of engraving that I really like too that I see sometimes used for just under a grand. But it's got the "Brand New Look."
