Besides one's fingers, is there a simple, inexpensive b bender that can be built?
I am not the most spatially inclined. It needs to be inexpensive and simple.. very simple.
Thanks in Advance!

I wouldn't tackle it in that case, and would recommend a Hipshot or Timara. That was their approach and the bugs are already out.

I built one that was very inexpensive, less than $50 parts easily. Check out this thread and PM me if you have any questions.

Greg actually sent me very detailed drawings and it was fairly easy to build.

I know this is TDPRI and we're all discussing Telecasters but OP hasn't told us what kind of guitar he wants a b-bender on.
The easiest b-bender mechanism to install is the Epiphone EZ-bender but it can only be installed on Gibson type stop-pieces:

The EZ-bender is no longer sold by Epiphone but you can find it easily on eBay for not much (below 50$ I would say).
Absolutely no mods required to the guitar.
