Ain't nuthin' wrong with a 2 x 5e3.
I have this old friend that Mark made for me.
I run american 6v6 "pulls" in her & a 50's 5u4.
I have a 30w ceramic Blue Dog & a 30w ceramic 1230-55 in her.
I stuck an attenuator on her 'cause she's pretty LOUD.
Do you have a sweet 2 x 5e3 to brag about ???
C'mon, show us your true love.

It's hard to believe that no one has a 2 x 5e3.
Maybe we're under the radar :?:
Exclusive and very special.

I know there has to be other owners here.
This is a popular amp for good reason.

My main amp is a Victoria Double Deluxe, AMAZING tone. I had a real 1960 tweed Deluxe for years, just a masterpiece... but was tough to gig with for the discussed-to-death reasons. DD solves that issue while still delivering *that* tone! I had the ground switch converted into a standby... otherwise stock. NOS tubes all, one Weber alnico and one vintage Jenson alnico.

Great amp Jparris.
I have mine with a standby as well.
2 different speakers add some flavor.
Mine is too loud for a lot of my latest gigs because those weber ceramics are pretty efficient.

I have an L-Pad on mine.

My post was intended to be read as "there's no such thing as too loud"!!!!
