I know, late to the party. But I saw Robert Plant and the Band of Joy on Letterman tonight playing R&L Thompson's "House of Cards." Buddy was nailing RT's licks with just a flat pick. How's he do that?

Have you seen him with Three Girls and their Buddy?

Good stuff.

I kinda cursed Robert Plant at an AK/RP show a couple years ago because he gave T-Bone Burnett 4 solo songs in the middle of the gig and kinda gave Buddy 1 1/2.

But now all is forgiven. What a collection of talent - that only serve the song.

I saw The Band of Joy tour last night in Atlanta. Great playing & singing from a very special group of musicians. This was my third time seeing Buddy, played a Dano or Jerry Jones Baritone most of the night. Lots of low end twang.

Saw him with Emmylou's Spyboy a few years back.

I've been a big Buddy fan for a long time. I'd love to meet the guy and just tell him thanks.

How's he do that? By being about as good as guitar players get.

The man has touch & taste aplenty.
