somewhere and I believe it was established that it "was not" owned by Clarence White and wasn't a prototype of his bender guitar. All that said, that's a fairly interesting looking contraption and an idiot like myself might even be able to fabricate something like that. What is the piece that comes through the top that the string hooks into? Also with that long lever on the back, it looks like the bender on Frank Rikard's LP Jr. that he used when he was with Emmylou Harris.........JH in Va.

This guitar doesn't remotely match Gene Parsons' stories of Clarence, or the B Bender invention.

It is not period correct either. Beware Beware. Check the other fourum threads on it.

Lot's of bewares about this item here and on the CW forum. Marty Stuart owns the bender. (And sometimes let's lucky TDPRI'ers try it out)!
