Even a pro using a Surfcaster with a scalloped neck might catch a few clams now and again.
to point: That thing is painfully ugly in its conception, and sublimely beautiful in its execution.

The fellow hosting that show is Tim Farmers. He has a Kentucky Public tv show on hunting and fishing in Ky. He only has one hand. They try not to show his bad arm, and when they do he has a long sleave with a glove. Its pretty cool to watch fish and hunt. He will hold the fishing reel crank in his mouth, and reel the pole and all with his good arm. He shoots his bow with his teeth, and shotgun hunts with just one arm. Pretty cool he has made the best of his situation. He did another cool show with the Everly brothers.

A few years ago Gibson jumped on the Zemaitis bandwagon by making a LP with a full body plate engraved with a fly fisherman in the background and a trout flying out of the water in the fore.
Wonder why that one tanked?

Huh, I used to visit that site daily. Been away for a while and missed that thread. I'm mostly flyfishing warmwater these days and my site of choice is Fiberglassflyrodders.com and the rodbuidling board there in particular. I'm also Loudog99 there and build custom rods too.
