Picked up a Galaxie 4 last week. Orange, of course. Aside from just plain fun, this guitar is a dang good player too. Pickups have a really unique sound, very bright and crisp, and switchable in all possible combinations. I've played it nonstop since I got it, using mostly the two neck pickups. Very fast neck too. Totally recommend this guitar for the playing (if the looks don't get you first).
Bass player in my band just got a Belvedere standard gold top, and he is loving that one too.

Seems to be just you and me kidder !
My DiPinto Belvedere Deluxe, with red sparkle finish, f-hole and bigsby trem.
Plays nice, sounds big and fat and smooth. A lot of fun to play.
Completely stock apart from changed the black top hats to white chicken heads.

I do. It's like your guitar is wearing spats. No confusing that with some generic solid body, now is there?

I know what you mean mate !
Always liked the DiPinto Galaxie's. They look outrageous and have that cool, killer surfy sound.
Love to get my hands on one.

Here's my Belvedere Deluxe. I dropped by his shop and had Chris DiPinto install a custom pickguard while I was in Philly visiting family. I love this guitar.

I have a Dipinto Galaxie in sunburst. Pretty fun guitar with all the different pickup combinations you can get. My biggest issue is finding an area to play around all the damn pickups. I'm forever nicking one of them. Also, I'm not sure I still need this guitar now that I have a Jazzmaster, a Tele, and a sorta Mosrite wannabe. Sure, it gives some different sounds, but I think I may have the single coil thing covered.

I got this used from the Nashville guitar center. It already had the Duncan humbucker in the bridge when I got it. I bought a vibramate and b5 bigsby for my sg, but when I got it I decided to put it on the mach IV. The guitar is very easy to play and at the price used it has worked out great. I do plan on replacing the neck pickup with a kent Armstrong red special pickup.

I have a Galaxie, but it's the now discontinued Galaxie II mode. It has two split humbuckers instead of the singles. Great silver sparkle finish, big funky pearl pickguard and headstock. Crazy cool looking and it sounds/plays awesome. Bought it used at Guitar Center here for $300 a few years back. Consider myself lucky as it had just been traded that morning.
