Warnings from Google chrome

Ive been getting warnings that this site contains mall ware and that it can harm a computer just from visiting a sit that has this. Its new as Ive been lurking here for around a year and this is the first time this has happened. I just wanted to give someone the heads up. I really don't know much about the virus systems or anything like that, i just wanted to tell someone that this has happened this morning. :confused:

I spend a LOTTA time on here.
Never seen any indication that this site is related to any negative computer issues.
My experience suggests Google Chrome is annoying at best.

Out of 180,000 visitors in the last 24-hours only you have reported this. We need more corroboration than one person. Generally, if something like this happened there would be 120 reports within the first 10 mins of such a warning.

Thanks for letting us know. I can only guess it was some kind of mistake or other issue. But I know to never say never.

Are you sure the warnings are coming from google Chrome?

There are several spyware loaders out that are masquerading as virus screeners, bogusly reporting viruses so that the user will take actions that give the spyware loader access around the browser and OS security.

You could always try deleting cookies, history, etc. could be just your chrome being over encumbered...

May have been a safety catch of some kind, I really have no idea, it happened right after I did the new post since your last visit search and it just so happens that I never have tried that function before, so maybe that had something to do with it.

I use Chrome and have done for a long time, and never received such warnings?

This is old and was never a problem for any one but the OP. So, there is no reason to respond to let us no that no problem exists. I'm closing this to prevent others from doing so. Please check post dates and respond to current threads.
