Hey everyone,
I was just wondering what guitar headphone amps anyone would recommend for me? I'll be using the headphone amp with a tele and Grado SR60s. I'm not into heavy metal or anything with real high gain if that helps narrow it down.
I've been looking at the Vox AC30 amPlug:

Anyone have experience with this thing or any other headphone amps?
Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!

I have one. It really sounds good. I can even hook it up to my stereo system to pretend I'm playing an AC30. I actually wish I can get a real AC30 now that I think my Tele will sound like that with this imitation.

I have a Rockman that's over twenty years old now and still works great it also can be an inline effect-sounds fantastic and it's perfect for those late night inspirations when the wife's asleep. I hear the new ones aren't as great but something to look into anyways-here's one like mine-Brian

I´ve got an original Rockman and a Pocket Pod.They are both good headphone amps as long as you accept them for what they are.The price for a used Pocket Pod in Sweden seems to be 60 USD.

RP-50 is pretty good too but you have to have it plugged in if you don't wanna change aa batteries all the time.

I love the Vox amPlug. Best $40 I ever spent on gear.
It fits a Strat's kooky input jack really well, not as accessible in Teles or Les Pauls.

Definitely not a headphone amp, it's about the size and shape of a '70 vintage Sony clock radio, but I use a Vox Mini-3 as a headphone amp, and the different amp voicings are quite good. What's even more fun is reading the manual and the different permutations of the English language used in the descriptions of the amp voices so that they can avoid using the words "Marshall", "Fender", "Mesa", and "Dumble".

I've had the ac30 and classic lead amplugs as well as the pocket pod. I much preferred the sound and ease of use of the amplugs.
Both are great for what they are. Some people like fiddling with patches, but not me, so I like the vox stuff. YMMV.
