Thanks much,
Paul

Anyone have pics, tool list etc? Thanks much, Paul Kevin December 3rd, 2004, 11:00 AM You have to enlarge the holes to 3/8" all the way through (it's probably drilled for 11/32" holes at the face -- for the bushings -- and even smaller in the back). You'll also have to drill the two small holes per tuner for the locating pins on the back of the MIM tuners. Stew Mac sells a jig for this, which is really a godsend for that type of tuner. Why not just get a set of Gotoh Klusons? They're inexpensive, lighter, and look much cooler. daily4x4 December 3rd, 2004, 01:27 PM Is there a work around so as not to spend $30 on a stew mac jig? TIA Kevin December 3rd, 2004, 01:54 PM Depends on how good you are at making jigs... Yes. You could measure the offsets of the pins, carefully mark the neck for the holes, and drill them with a press, but you'd have to be really careful. mk December 3rd, 2004, 02:31 PM Yeah, go with the Klusons. Better all around. | ||
