Nice flame, however the neck appears to have a scarf joint that some might shy away from.

located in Korea, Peerless makes some nice guitars ... they made many guitars for Epiphone ... my 1997 Epi Emperor Regent (poor man's Gibson Johnny Smith) is a Peerless ... on Epiphone guitars, look for a PXXXXXXX serial number ... http://es.woodbrass.com/images/woodbrass/EPIPHONE+EMPEROR+REGENT-1.JPG

Peerless and Samick are both huge OEM factories that make most of the guitars made in Asia.

Peerless makes some very fine instrument. I have the Wizard now, owned a pre-production Gretsch 5120 made there. Both excellent. The playability, neck feel and fretwork on the Wizard are top notch.

I'm sure that neck is OE and not a repair.
