Prayers and mojo needed

Hey guys, I was hoping you could send some prayers up for two people in my life. My mother-in-law's husband has a lump in his throat which is being biopsied today, and we're praying it's not cancer.

Meanwhile, my friend has been diagnosed with cervical cancer and is in surgery today to have part of her cervix removed. She's only 25. It's bad enough for this to happen to people, but especially around the holiday season, it gets real difficult. Any thoughts and prayers are appreciated.
