Hey guys,

Kind of a wierd question but i've got a tele that is going to be built and it is all hollow except for a center block.
It is going to have no electric pickup and an acoustic pickup in it.
Here is a Mock up.

What pickup would you guys recommend?

I heard sound samples of a tele build on here that used ghost saddles. It was amazing! sounded just like an acoustic guitar.

Thats an interesting project , I wish you luck. You might find some of this thread to be useful , in particular the ' acoustic' properties that resulted from my build method.

I'm a big fan of the clean look as you will discover.

Best wishes, Mac

Look into the piezo transducer option; it can easily be the cheapest.

So far I've amplified my 72 Thinline RI and my classical guitar with it. I'm a newbie, but I enjoyed the sound.

ok I found the build I was referring to. He has a link with audio samples of the piezo on post #8 as well as more info on what he used in this thread. I'm not going to lie, when I heard the sound he got, I was totally envious.
