I'm looking for a new bridge pickup for my tele it has Alnico v stock fender in it now. it doesent sound too bad but I want something a little warmer sounding. I have fralin pickups in my strat and they really sound great. but i"m looking for something different for my tele. something that is fuller and not so bright and tinny sounding. I have tube amps and play mostly rock and blues. I like to play clean and also with a little overdrive. not really heavy on the dirt.

Bare Knuckle Pickups Piledriver - very warm yet you can get the Tele bite if you want. My favourite bridge pickup: I keep thinking about buying another Tele just so I can get another Piledriver!

Duncan Jerry Donahue works well. Have fun, Wayne

I love Don Mare's 0038 Broadcaster pickup - big and full sounding, but it retains the Tele bite. No ice pick.

SD Antiquity is a great bridge pup, IMO. Great rock and blues tones with a little crunch/grit, beautiful clean tones as well.

Good suggestions all, but I grow fonder and fonder of my GFS Fatbody 7K bridge pickup. Nice full sound, and it responds well to the tone control. I have it in an Esquire, and it gives me a nice varied tone all on its own. I don't know how it would pair with your neck p'up, but it's also Alnico V. (I like the Keystone in my Tele is a bit better, but they only come in pairs.)

I know I'm being a little redundant with my pickups responses, but before you switch pickups, try lowering the bridge pickup.
