six to three saddle super glue

this is probably only of interest to very few here, but I've an old six saddle mexican bridge that I wanted to convert to a three saddle.

my main problem with the six saddles was not tone related, but the high E saddle would come up off the bridge when digging under the string.

not easy to find the proper parts so I decided to glue a pair of the saddles together with super glue (cyanoacrylate).

well it holds a LOT better than I thought and the two saddles are now married till death do them part.

of course you loose some intonation flexibility but no mor than you would with three saddles.

A big C-clamp would squeeze them all together and add sustain too!
But don't do it if you bridge mute with your hand a lot. :?
Maybe G&L stole my idea!
