I am looking for a good tap delay pedal but I don't want something super expensive or super cheap. I was looking at the Deluxe Memory Boy. I also don't want it too big to fit on my pedal board or I would have got the DL4. Any good sugeestions?

From my own search which was super long & drawn out. Here's my .02:

TC Electronics Nova Delay is the best I've found w/ out getting crazy (if you want to save settings)
TC Electronics Nova Repeater is cheaper & has great range w/ the same high quality sound as the Nova Delay (but you don't get to save settings)

Also a great option for cheaper is a used Boss DD5 w/ FS5U. They can be found cheap used (as they are no longer made) & w/ FS you get hassle free tap tempo.

The nova is incredible!!! Hands down the best delay I've played for simple operation, great sound & incredible live application! I do recommend running it at 12volts not 9. It will function at 9 but the quality isn't as good.

In theory I like that the DD7 has a jack that lets you use an external pedal for tap or an external expression pedal to control some of the other parameters, but I haven't actually tried it. I can say that you shouldn't get one that uses the same pedal for both on/off and tap - I have both the digidelay and echo park that do the "1 pedal" option differently, and neither is really that useable for live situations

The Line 6 Echo Park's tap tempo follows you incredibly well. None of this hold the pedal down for 3 seconds then do it again to change it. I think the sounds are incredible, and I'm am not a Line 6 fan at all. Best delay I've ever owned, check it out. Tons of features including the best backwards sounds I've ever heard from a pedal. Has to have it's own power supply so it's a drag on a pedal board but to me it's worth it.

Another use the DD-5 or get the DD-7 and put on the external tapper...
Nothing beats the ability to turn it off without using the same switch.
