4 way with Fender Vintage Noiseless PUP Problem

I'm a newbie looking for help on my first partscaster build. I've installed Fender Vintage Noiseless PUPs and a 4 way. Positions 1-3 seem to work fine. The fourth position has about half the output. I was expecting extra output in this position based upon all I've read here. I'm pretty sure it's all wired correctly with one exception. Everyone notes that the ground jumper needs to be removed on the neck PUP. On the Vintage Noiseless, there are two ground jumpers. One in the standard location and another that runs diagonal all the way across the plate to one of the crimp lugs on the chrome cover. I removed both jumpers and ran a ground wire to the cover lug. Thoughts? The only other non-standard feature I have is a treble bleed cap. Standard Fender cap that's included in the bag with the 250 volume pot. Any theories would be much appreciated!

PS: the build hasn't been uneventful, but it has been a blast. I'll be posting a lessons learned for newbies when I finish... pics too. Thanks to all of you for your postings... couldn't have done it without TDPRI.com!

I've done the 4way switch & don't think you have to do anything with the ground wire that I'm aware ( but it is 1:23am now ). I only removed the ground B/C I did a DPDT switch for phase change. I'd check the wiring again. But I've never used those pickups. Good luck.........Cheers

Pretty sure the neck pup, with two grounds, is already set-up to do the 4-way mod. Don't think that any jumpers need to be cut when using the two ground pups. I think the yellow wire is an independant cover ground.

Not completely sure on this and if I'm wrong I'm sure somebody here will correct my error.

Called a guitar tech today. He said the noiseless pups he had in stock don't have two jumpers as I have on mine. He said he would just disconnect the one connected to the cover. Anyone have any experience with finding two jumpers on Fender Vintage Noiseless neck PUP? I have one tinned twisted pair jumper running across the plate to the cover, one short single strand wire running between two solder bumps right beside the hole where the black and yellow wires come through the back plate.

Thanks to everyone for the replies! I got it working by reconnecting the small jumper. From what I can tell, this jumper is usually soldered on the opposite side of the plate. For whatever reason, mine's different. For those of you pairing Fender Vintage Noiseless neck PUP with a 4 way switch mod, remove the twisted tinned pair that runs to one of the crimp lugs on the chrome cover. Attach a new ground wire to the crimp lug and run it back to the volume pot.
