my version of Wish You Were Here....

This is the first song I ever recorded in my little home studio. It has little flaws here and there, I sang the vocals and I'm not much of a singer but none of that matters to me because...... after my oldest son passed a few years ago, I just couldn't get this song out of my head and decided to do my version of it. Not a day goes by that I don't think about him. His name was Justin, I think he would have liked it.... part of me hopes he can hear it now.

This time of the year is rough for me. Hope everyone else has a nice Thanksgiving.

:smile: yeah, I agree it does take a long time to develop from the AM radio searching / heterodyne whistle, to getting past my dubious singing parts. LOL!

I decided to take an extra section out today. So now its 39 secs shorter and gets on with it a lot sooner.

Since I shortened it on the front end, I've had to remix several times to get it sounding right. I just uploaded the mix from today that is starting to sound much more balanced to my ears.
