Finally got around to taking some pictures of my latest acquisitions.
First- a 1988 '57 Strat Reissue and then a 1988 '62 J Bass reissue. Both have nary a mark on them and look every bit as good as my 1986 '62 Strat Reissue

Well I screwed up attaching the pictures and the one that came was the '62 Strat-here are the '57 Strat and '62 J Bass.

Well I finally got the pictures to come through. That was a struggle for me!
Esquire, no it is not a Twin, it is a '68 Driprail Deluxe Reverb. To the right of the '57 is a '65 DRRI with a highly modified Blues Jr on top and behind the J Bass is the '68 DR with a 65 PRRI on top of it.

Billd13, those are spectacular! I am in love with that Jazz bass man! Smokin cool.
Nice amps too, so you have (2) 68 Deluxe Reverbs?

I wish I did, but alas I only have one. The other one is a circa 2002 '65 Deluxe Reverb Reissue. The '68 is refurbed and retubed by Kendrick Amplifiers in Texas and equipped with a Weber 12F150 while the DRRI also has a Weber 12F150 and has also been retubed with a combination of JJ's and Mullard's.
I also bought both pickup covers for the J Bass and am contemplating whether or not to put them on. The Jazz Bass is awesome looking in person in Lake Placid Blue. Now I am wanting to find a Lake Placid Blue Tele to go with my Custom Shop NOS 52 Tele RI but I don't think that will happen for a while.

You didn't say they were LPB!
Of course that makes them much better than your average Fender IMO.

Nice Score! I've got a comparable 86' 57 MIJ re-issue which has a fantastic neck.

I had an original 65 Strat on loan from a friend for over 2 years. I took all kinds of measurements vs the 1986 '62 Sunburst in the original post and the dimensions were virtually identical except that the 65 was about .060" thinner at the 1st fret but was .070" thicker at the 12th fret

Check the baseball bat '52 Tele and notice that the Jazz Bass is almost as thin as the Strats. I did a couple of tracks with the Jazz Bass today and it really plays and feels so nice
