My favorite neck was on a '62 reissue "thin skin" Stratocaster. Think it was a nice, medium-smallish C shape. Do any of the custom shop relic Teles come close? Maybe the TimeMachine '63? i think I read somewhere the '63 had a boat neck. Recommendations are welcome!
I should also mention I prefer vintage size frets over the big Dunlops.
thanks!

The 63 Time Machine series I had had a slim neck. In fact, that's why I wound up selling it, but if that's what works for you, it was an extremely nice guitar. Haven't heard of a boatneck version, I would have kept that one!

That sounds perfect. Fender's site says it is 7.25" radius with vintage frets, yet others advertise as having med jumbo. Do you recall if yours had vintage frets or med jumbos?

I like extremely skinny necks, small-c shaped necks myself. My '66 Esquire or '84 ASAT should serve as models for the necks I like also.
Does the '63 model have that mid-60s small speedy neck profile to it?

The standard time machine model which is what i had has 7 1/4 and vintage frets. There are various special runs for stores or limited editions etc so I guess you might find anything out there, and of course you should double check if you're looking at something online.
