I was instantly jealous of those young skinny guitars at Guitar Center yesterday. My 2006 Baja Tele is 9 lbs... what should be heavy? More than 8.5 lbs?

At least there is more it to love!

Please post your hogs:

• make & model
• weight
• picture
• picture of your bruised collar bones if possible j/k

I will post my picture after I am finished customizing my pickguard. ...remember when buying online, ask the weight if its an Ash guitar.

I only dared clicking the thread when I saw it was in the guitar owners club section!

Believe it or not, Tummy cut guitars hurt my back more than LPs and Teles
They float around my body too much. I set all my guitars around my core, no problem with LPs. I can take girthy, hefty guitars as long as they don't have a tummy cut, or should I say "tummy tuck." ;)

Complete with 'baseball bat' neck profile, she weighs in at just over 10 lbs.

Shes a 76' with almost nothing original on her.

Been through the ringer and back. Took a licking and kept on ticking.

I have 57 re-issue humbuckers and the tone is off-the-hook cool. The articulation from note to note and, the clarity when chording is awesome.
Not a shredder but, it can rock.

If you play it sitting down long enough, I swear it will cut-off the circulation in your legs.

Plus she looks soooo good in Black!

I too hesitated to check out this thread. I figured I knew what it was about, but still...

Here's my "hog" as you put it. Actually, she's a "hog" in more than one sense; she's my mahogany solidbody Logan Custom Tele style. The rest of the specs: Bob Logan's Darkened Mahogany color, nitrocellulose lacquer finish; Birdseye Maple neck & board, amber tint; gold appointments; Wilkinson pups, P-90 neck & vintage style bridge; 3-way switching. Oh, yeah, and she weighs 9 lbs. 2 oz.
