Something a bit more melodic than my recent output. The rhythm is in open G on my HH Hag-Strat hybrid, supported by cowboy chords on the 12 string Tele and up-the-neck work on the DinkyTele. Lead is on the Epi P-90 Goldtop. Hope you like it; it's 2am. I'm goin' to bed. http://www.soundclick.com/player/single_player.cfm?songid=9764332&q=hi

nice job man! It actually put me in a good mood...thank you.
Everything is nicely recorded and the mix is pretty decent but those drums need help. :-) What are you using?

You got that right. I'm using the drums off a Yamaha PSR-6, which is little more than a kid's keyboard. I need to upgrade, but know very little about "midi" and all that stuff. But thanks-if I can put someone in a good mood then the song is doing what it's supposed to do. Can't ask for any more than that! I put a bit of effort into balancing things and trying to make what I had sound decent. It's a little Audiofire 2 setup with Tracktion 2 software.

would be so much better then the PSR-6 and it's not too expensive. I'm not familiar with Tracktion but I assume Toontrack would function just fine as a plugin with it.
