Hey guys, not new to soldering etc but I just got new apc tele pickups which have 2 wires twisted together and a ground wire on each..
Here are the instructions from adder..
Wiring instructions for APCpickups.
All coil leads are twisted pairs.
All standard APCpickups have this arrangement – BLACK=GROUND, WHITE=HOT (twisted together), BLACK=BODY GROUND
All reverse wound APCpickups have this arrangement – GREEN=GROUND, RED=HOT (twisted together), WHITE=BODY GROUND
For example with my neck t300n pickup do I solder the green(ground) wire at the same place (back of pot) as I solder the black (body ground) wire? then the red (hot) goes to its typical place on the selector switch?
Likewise for the bridge..
it is just a Stock fender mij tele; 3way switch with volume and tone control.
they are t300b and t300n apc pickups.
thanks in advance!!
