The BEST super cheap delay pedal?schenkadere October 1st, 2010, 09:20 PM How's the Dano stuff? That's the same as the Modtone...heard good and bad. k tone October 1st, 2010, 10:17 PM http://www.jax-music.com/images/D/fab_delay.jpg herO3pv8E1I I just bought one of these for $25 including delivery. k tone October 1st, 2010, 10:19 PM That's the same as the Modtone...heard good and bad. I had the Modtone Tremor and it was a complete POS. I will never buy Modtone or one of it's rebadged brothers ever again. birv2 October 1st, 2010, 10:21 PM I like the PB&J Dano Delay, even sold my DanEcho and kept this one. Jeff_K October 1st, 2010, 10:23 PM The Ibanez DE7 is a solid unit, figuratively and literally. If you don't need tap tempo, it's a good cheap alternative. $60 new and I've seen it for $30-40 on CL. I used the DE7 every Wed and Sunday, probably 10-15 hrs a week for a year and it never failed and looks and works like new. I switched to a DD6 for the tap tempo, but my teenagers haven't been able to break the DE7, which says a lot. studio1087 October 1st, 2010, 11:53 PM Ktone posted my video! People actually see them! Weird man! Here's where I got my Dano.... Jax Music - Dano 600ms Delay for $23.99 - Linky (http://www.jax-music.com/Danelectro-D-8-FAB-Delay-D-8.html) k tone October 2nd, 2010, 12:33 AM studio1087 I want your Tele! It is an MIM Custom no? I have looked at them numerous times. How is the neck? Does the Fab delay have the same footprint as a Cool Cat? I wonder if it will fit in my Cool Cat board? I have the Vibe, TOD (V1), Drive (V1), Fuzz (V1), and Trem but I need a delay! Hopefully they make a Cool Cat delay someday. Sorry if this is OT. scooteraz October 2nd, 2010, 12:50 AM Used Boss DD-3. A bit sterile sounding, but you can get a used one about $40 or so. And they are basically bulletproof. schenkadere October 2nd, 2010, 01:01 AM Ktone posted my video! People actually see them! Weird man! Here's where I got my Dano.... Jax Music - Dano 600ms Delay for $23.99 - Linky (http://www.jax-music.com/Danelectro-D-8-FAB-Delay-D-8.html) Wow...what are your impressions so far? Is it really a cheesy construction? Greg.Coal October 2nd, 2010, 01:14 AM How's the Dano stuff? Or...any other suggestions? no more than 300ms needed. I have a kind of complicated Behringer that is almost always set to slap-back. I can't recommend the model because it fails after being on for an hour (since new); Behringer won't accept it back because I did not buy it from an authorized dealer - I bought it new on eBay and their policy is no authorized dealer can sell on eBay. So, I will probably get a dedicated Dano (Fab?) slap back. I have other Dano stuff and it's good. Also, their US $9 9v PS's are good. Then I can try using the other capabilities of the more powerful delay I have. richey88 October 2nd, 2010, 08:21 AM Dano PBnJ and DE-7 lover here. |
