Is this a good deal? I love the green color. I haven't looked at it yet as I don't have cash in hand yet. Reviews seem in the 8-9 out of 10 range on some sites I've researched.

Was $400 yesterday and is listed as $375 today...it's been on there for month or so.

If it's in good shape (straight neck, good electrics, etc) what would you offer?

I don't have a LP yet so kinda have the itch!

I wouldn't pay more than $300 for it. Offer him that and see if he bites.

Kinda what I was thinking. I won't kid myself as I would never fork over the $$ for a Gibson. Why? Because I'm a cheap ass.

I paid $180 for my Epi Dot Studio & it's an amazing guitar after I switched the pickups out for Zhangbucker T-Buckers and upgraded all the electrics. Great neck & it's a blast to play now...I don't think I'll ever part with it. Also spent, $200 for a MIM Tele that had been dropped/chipped. Switched out the pickups for some Rio Grande Muy Grandes and it's a beast now too.

Spending $400 on a used axe seems high to me...haha (although it already seems to have some decent pickups in it & the electrics done)

After looking at the post again, If I was looking at buying this guitar I would make him take the pickups out of the cavities to prove that they are in fact the ones he's claiming they are. The solid covers with no polepiece holes can make anything be whatever he says it is . I once bought an "original" 68 Fender Bandmaster that supposedly had the stock speakers in the extension cabinet, but when I got it home and opened it up, there were Pyle Drivers in it.

Hmm...won't reply to my e-mail from craigslist...maybe he didn't like my questions. Oh well, I'll keep looking!

Gee, that's unusual!! I find that most people on Craigslist have excellent manners and outstanding communication skills.

I've got an Epi LP Custom that absolutely rocks! I'm really diggin' the green burst on that one. Good luck to ya!
