Wireless and Buffers

Wireless people,

I was wondering if using a wireless would have a negative effect on pedals that don't respond well to buffers before them. Is the signal coming from a wireless receiver anything like a buffered signal?

The output of a wireless receiver is very much buffered and will have the same effect on your sound and the guitar's interaction with the pedal.

Hmm. That sucks. My Proctavia doesn't like a buffered signal. Really , the wireless is only for a corporate/variety band that I'm in so it really doesn't matter. I don't ever use the Proctavia on that gig.
