GFS 5 way switch

Hi guys-

I just gutted a strat and replaced everything with GFS components. It sounds awesome, but on the bridge p'up only (position 1), none of the pots do anything. Everything works like normal except in that position. Everything is wired correctly (after quadruple checking), so I'm thinking it may be the 5 way switch itself.

Does anyone have any experience with these?

Thanks for the help!!

Okay, sorry...

Apparently "strat 101" is that in the bridge position, the controls dont do anything. Looks like its right...

you should still have volume control.

normally the 1st tone pot is the neck and the next one is middle pup. Some wire the lower tone to effect the bridge pup, but you should still have volume control on ALL switch positions....per standard strat wiring.

OK, right now in the bridge position the "volume" knob is acting as a tone knob, and the two "tone" knobs do nothing. I found something else online that said the knobs don't do anything in the bridge position, so I ran with it.

The controls work perfectly in the other 4 positions, and this guitar sounds killer now.

I'm not much of a strat guy, so I haven't had much exposure to this stuff, but I definitely like this guitar. I've built two teles and re-wired and replaced pickups in other guitars, and I offered to do this squier for my buddy. It sounds great now, except for this thing with the switch...

Thanks for the help!
