Tremolo arm --- ON or OFF?

What do most of you do when you put your guitar back in the case, do you leave the tremolo arm on or off the guitar? I take mine off.

Depends on whether I can get the case closed or not.
If I can close the case then it stays in.

Before definitely off, lately it´s been on though :roll:
