i have a adams hand wired 50 watt head that sound awesome,1 channel beaks just the way you want but when i put a delay in front or reverb its just has to much effect.you have to turn down the effect very low just dont sound right does anybody have any clues on what to do?

Keep the effect turned down if you only want a little. :mrgreen:

But seriously, those effects can be run through an effects loop, but pedals are designed to go between the guitar and amp.

Gain-based effects like overdrive pedals,compressors,and volume pedals should go into the front of the amp,and time-based effects like delay,flange,chorus should go in the loop.

True in an ideal world but, of course, YMMV. All effects loops aren't created equal, nor do all amps have them.
