Anybody know where to get the same 3 way switch Fender uses on the La Carbonita? You know, the metal tipped 3 way toggle.

La Carbonita 3 way switch?JFIN August 8th, 2010, 06:43 PM Anybody know where to get the same 3 way switch Fender uses on the La Carbonita? You know, the metal tipped 3 way toggle. sjtalon August 8th, 2010, 10:47 PM La Cabronita sorry can't help you on the switch but had NEVER heard of that one before so it was interesting finding out about it. http://www.tdpri.com/forum/bad-dog-cafe/181261-la-cabronita-especial.html Oh, found one : http://accessories.musiciansfriend.com/product/DiMarzio-Three-Position-OnOnOn-4PDT-Pickup-Selector-Switch?sku=424669&CJAID=10381297&CJPID=2179950 http://img3.musiciansfriend.com/dbase/pics/products/2/9/7/431297.jpg KokoTele August 8th, 2010, 11:13 PM That's not the right switch. It uses a normal Gibson style 3 way selector switch on the 2 pickup model, like this one: http://www.wdmusic.com/lp_toggle_switch_chrome_metal_tip.html http://www.wdmusic.com/media/images/products/new_electronics/ss_size1/WDE7CM.jpg http://www.lakiukulele.com/clients/guitar/La-Cabronita-Especial-2PU_B.png sjtalon August 8th, 2010, 11:51 PM Nut looks better (correct) and cheaper too. Would you have to keep it under your hat that you used a GIBSON switch ?? KokoTele August 9th, 2010, 09:00 AM Since Gibson doesn't actually make switches, I'm sure the TDPRI crowd won't be too hard on him. It's Switchcraft, and we generally like Switchcraft stuff :-) |
