Friday, August 13th my band will be hosting an open jam at the Red Rock Cafe in historic downtown Hastings, MN. Typically the jam begins at 7 PM and goes until the fun runs out. All ages welcome until 10 PM, after that you have to be twenty-one. All skill levels welcome too! It is fun to see someone improvise a blues for their first time in front of a crowd.
The past jams have featured all different kinds of music, such as: blues, bluegrass, country, country-rock, classic rock, 90s rock and even one young fellow who was slappin his knees and his acoustic like Andy Mckee. As a rule, however, we discourage rap/hip-hop and any types of music that could easily offend others, so try to keep the content reasonable!
I hope to see some of you there! My name is Ben, I'll likely be the only one playing a telecaster, so if any fellow TDPRers show up, be sure to introduce yourselves. Thanks for looking.
