Hi,

My brother in-law built himself a tele. Since he doesn't post on tdpri and I enjoy looking at other people's creation I thought I would share it with you guys.

He built the body from scratch. The neck is Warmoth but he finished it himself.

It's a mahogany with a maple top. Pickups are Gibson (I'll have to ask exactly which model), vintage type tuners, Black Tusq nut and while it used to be string-through he recently installed a Bigsby.

I got a chance to play it and it's a real keeper.

It's called the Thinline ES, the ES because of the pickups and wood choice.

Is that a Mustang bridge? Did you have to angle the neck back or anything to get it to work?

It's a standard tele bridge that fitted a standard tele single pickup bridge. He cut off part of it and then sanded/polished where he cut to accommodate for a humbucker.

If you look closely you can see the upper corner edges are slightly round.
