Hello all. I am shopping around for a new amp. I have come across these two amps during my search and would like to know which would be the better choice. The laney i can get for about 400 and the vox for about 300.

I will be playing quite a few different styles of music, ranging from rock, to jass and blues, to lots of latin style music. I would really need some nice clean and warm sounds for my own personal style of playing and i feel like the Laney would probably deliver a bit more on that aspect. But i also kinda like the different amp type choices and built in effects of the Vox.

Ultimately, it comes down the opinions and hands on experience of the good folks here at this forum  I would really appreciate your opinions on this. Thank you all.

Anyone have anything good or bad to say about any of these amps? Any takers? Any advice would be dearly appreciated please.

I have a VC30 and owned a Vox AD30VT for a while. Although the AD30VT has amp sims and effects that are relatively OK, it can't compete with the warm tube sound of the VC30.
I use my VC30 mostly for blues these days, but it worked very well also in our cover band for 60's rock, country and Shadows type instrumentals.
So, I would certainly recommend the VC30.

I played a VC-30 for a few years. Very reliable, nice clean tones and takes a pedal well.
Looking back that amp was abused, dropped etc. never let me down. Just got a hankering for the Fender sound. Good luck.
