For $35 I got the power supply and a daisy cable to power 5 pedals. Jr. Martin R June 26th, 2010, 12:26 PM I use a Dunlop DC Brick. You're also going to hear about a Voodoo Labs power supply. stlthinkin June 26th, 2010, 01:12 PM all you need is the 1/8th inch adapter. if you use a voodoo labs power supply it comes with 1/8th cables you can use to power the reverb. If you use a 1-spot or the DC brick they make adapters that plug into the and of the boss style adapter. fly135 June 26th, 2010, 01:56 PM I am putting all my effects together in a board. If you use an adapter, you will short out the Boss type supply. This is because the Boss style pedals short the + to ground, and the HG shorts - to ground. The connecting cables will tie the grounds and short the supply. If you insist on using one PS, then you need an expensive one with isolated outputs. But *no* to daisy chaining pedals with differing polarities. |
