Zvex Nanohead and Fender Hot Rod Deluxe [Archive]

I thought I'd come and ask a stupid question.

I have a ltd ed Fender Hot Rod Deluxe in surf green with a celestion speaker. It's the loudest 40w amp I've ever heard. I've been trying to get a THD hot plate for a while, but everywhere near where I live seems to be sold out (I like in the UK). So, I was in a guitar store a couple of weeks back and I tried out a Zvex Nanohead. It's apparently the worlds smallest production tube amp...

It sounded amazing and it's the perfect volume for me.

Would I be able to disconnect my speaker from my amp in my Deluxe and just connect this straight into the speaker and use it that way? Would that work?

when I tried out the nano head(pretty cool) the Guy let Me play it a while then He plugged it into a Marshall 4x12 and THAT worked ,really moved a surprising amount of air ,so I would guess YES.I would love to have one in My Guitar case for emergencies.
