Speaker ideas for Blues Deville?

I play country mostly and have been trying to improve my Deville's clean tone. It can get quite ice picky a times on the highs. I replaced my tubes with JJs and the preamp to a 5751. This helped and now Im looking at speakers. I do have an Eminance Copperhead and a webber 10" I go back and forth with on my pro Jr but that amp has a much different sound than the blues deville. I wonder if I could hook up my weber and copperhead in the Deville and just disconnect all but one speaker at a time. Im not sure if that could cause any unforseen problems or not :confused:

I will be using a Forrest Lee Jr custom double bender guitar with Alnico 2 pickups.

I've owned the first edition of the Blues Deville and thought that it was supreme. I ended up selling it because it had so much power and I wasn't gigging at the time. If I had that amp again i would replace the baffle and install a Sica (Jensen)Neo 15" 250watt. One of the few distributors of that line is Ken Fox of Fox Amps. He's recently built a 100watt version of a Fender bassman for his steel guitar clientel. It's a serious amount of power and a lot of weight reduction for a pure clean tube amp. I run a Peavey Classic fifty head and will soon use this speaker in a cab. check it out.!!

It never crossed my mind to try a single 15. I would love to head a clip of that setup. Off to the You-tubes! Maybe I'll get lucky.

Weber speakers are my choice
