8 year old Mojave Coyote, Plastic control plate is a little warped from a THD sitting on top a lot.
What would/should be considered a reasonable cost by you all for a replacement from Mojave ? Yes I have contacted them, and was put off for a few reasons, none which are the point of my question here.
Thanks

not over $50-60 ... it's not a mass-produced item ... have you thought about un-warping it ??? i would think that heat and pressure could correct it ... we used to fix warped vinyl LPs by placing them between two pieces of glass and letting them sit in the sun for a while ...

$85.00 I was quoted, and the comment in his reply after my 3rd unanswered request that it was the old type they do not use for a long while, and/so he had it made for me already turned me around on wanting to do business with them/him honestly. How can you have something made for a customer you have not quoted a price to even yet. I was born at night....
I had 1/2 a thought about trying to un-warp it, I like that idea there. It just so happens sitting on top of a book case 3 feet from the amp are some tempered glass shelves perfect for the job too.
I figured 55-60.00 myself, 10-15.00 to ship, so not way way off, but the BS content rubbed me totally the wrong way.
I may have to still do it if my straighten attempt does not work. Hope he does not read this and flip me off if I save the coin to actually get the 85.00 one. ;O

Robert, the fellow may have had an order to put in for the current panels and simply added the panel you need to his order before he responded to your request. Maybe not....but there is a chance that this is what happened. IMho, $85 is not exorbitant for a panel....especially if it is not a current production item. One-offs are not inexpensive to produce. They would have to pull up the old art and reconfigure to do just one panel.
That said, I think you will be able to straighten that panel out.
