Sunday's Coming videobro. craig May 16th, 2010, 07:18 AM Every body ought to see this! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PUUlZDSRU-M fuddy May 16th, 2010, 03:02 PM Love it! Thanks for sharing! justin.ray May 16th, 2010, 04:55 PM Mint. JayDee May 16th, 2010, 06:09 PM That's odd. Somebody just showed me this video earlier today. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry. It's so frustrating to me watching people try to make the church "cool". I realize that the video is a satire, but it made me literally feel ill. I guess it's just because I've seen the fruit it generally produces. I applaud whoever produced the "trailer". ChickenKiller May 17th, 2010, 03:09 PM I have been to that church before. Seeker friendly garbage... elihu May 17th, 2010, 03:36 PM Well done and thought provoking. Thank God people can still be honest and blunt. Now that we see what the new stereotype is what are we gonna do? ChickenKiller May 17th, 2010, 03:58 PM Well done and thought provoking. Thank God people can still be honest and blunt. Now that we see what the new stereotype is what are we gonna do? Well I do know is, you can change the method, but you can't change the message. elihu May 18th, 2010, 12:03 AM Totally agree...just didn't realize how close to a cliche' it's come. I need to get out more. mjsstark May 22nd, 2010, 02:21 PM Everything has a formula. How many of you have a "quiet time" - or "men's group" - or "bible study" - or "fill in the blank"........ Should we make video's making fun of that? I could easily make a video making fun of soooo many Christian practices/formulas. No matter what we do, God moves - let's not hate the process ;) JayDee May 22nd, 2010, 09:02 PM Nothing wrong with methods at all. I've just seen the logical outcome and fruit that "seeker" churches produce (or rather don't produce). I'm not hating. I apologize if I came across that way. hotraman May 22nd, 2010, 11:59 PM One has to wonder... is this how the first time visitor view our worship services? |
