Bardens setup Lower or higher than suggested specs?

according to the Barden web site a good distance from the strings is 1/8th at the Low E and 3/16 at the high E.
You guys that have barden pickups.... do you set them lower or Higher ? what type of music?

I think the specs on the website are pretty good. Lowering them makes them chimier, raising them makes them hotter. I tend to favor the lower settings for most of the stuff I play (jazz, country, Western swing, rock, etc.) And they're very sensitive to the adjustments, IME. Hope it helps, CS
