Schaller sure-claw... opinions please

Hi guys,
apologies for what may be a dull thread, but I couldn't think which part of the site was best suited to this question. Figured it'd be safe here.

I'm looking at an upgrade to my strat's tremolo (Wilky VS100), including a KGC machined brass trem block and a Schaller sure-claw.

Granted, these are 2 rather frivolous upgrades, but I was wondering if any of my trusted TDPRI associates had any experience of the 'sure-claw', and whether it works as well as Schaller reckon..?

Much obliged for any feedback/opinions.
Andy

I can't help you, but I already started a similar thread (Sure Claw vs. Tremsetter) last night. You're right, it might be too dull of a subject ;-)

Brass block..... maybe. The Sure-Claw is a "cure" for a problem that doesn't exist. Merely a better mousetrap. The Strat claw system is pretty much 100% trouble-free.
