Need a schematic for a humbucker in an esquire

Just routed out and installed my "shaw" PAF in the neck position and can't find a schematic. I'm looking for:
1st position - humbucker with tone
2nd position - bridge with tone
3rd position - bridge no tone
Basicially I have the last two positions so just want to get rid of my "cocked wah" .47 cap and be able to use my tone for the neck pick up

O.K. now that I've really put some thought into it here's what I really want
1st position: neck humbucker with tone control
2nd position: split series bridge humbucker with tone control
3rd position: bridge humbucker with out tone control
While I've got my sleeves rolled up I think I'll also reverse the control plate so I can have the volume right at hand for easier swells

Yep, it's a two conductor humbucker in the neck and a four conductor humbucker in the brige

I have the "cocked wah" setting cap in there now. What cap will I need with two 500 K pots?

I thought you wanted to get rid of that cap? I'm not sure which value will sound good in your guitar... get a few different ones and try them all :-)

Soldered it up like the above schematic and now I'm not getting any sound. What should be checking for?

If nothing is working, start from a known place and work backwards.

1. touch the middle lug of the volume pot with the guitar plugged in and amp tuned on. You should hear a loud buzz from your amp.

2. touch the top lug of the volume pot (not the end that is grounded) and you should hear a buzz from your amp. Try turning the volume knob and the buzz should change volume.

3. touch the two lugs with orange wires (see diagram) on the switch, one at a time. You should hear a buzz from your amp each time.

4. touch the two lugs with green wires on the switch. You should hear a buzz from your amp on two of the three positions.

5. repeat on the other side of the switch, with each of black, red+white and white (neck) wires as you move the switch tip.

Let me know what you find.

Oops, forgot to add the orange wire. That's sorted and now my bridge humbucker without tone works. Got the proper buzzes but not with the green wires and they seem to be accurate to the diagram:confused:

If things are working don't worry about it:razz:

It's probably the tone circuit sending the high freq noise from your finger/screw driver (a.k.a antenna) down to ground.
