Tele neck on Danelectro body

I am interested in putting a Tele style neck on a Danelectro style body. I was told "a Fender neck will not work because it is too narrow and too thick (at the heel) and the wrong scale length." Is there anyplace I can get a tele neck made that is wider and thinner at the heel only and 25 inch scale to fit this body?

the neck will work if you move the bridge....depends on how much work you're willing to do

It would be easier (& cheaper) to build a Danelectro style body than a Fender style neck.
