Pawn shop find-Crate V58 amp

Yesterday i went into a local pawn shop that seems to never sell anything. But i saw a Black Crate V58 amp( 5 watt tube with 8" speaker)made in USA and since i used to have a Crate V8 palamino amp, same amp except the palamino was yellow tolex and has a 10" speaker i was interested.According to the owner the amp was new, but it looked like it was stored outside for a long time. When i made sure it worked i asked the price and he said 80 dollars, countered with 60 dollars and he said ok.
The fun starts for me. I love to clean up stuff so out comes my secret weapon,Armor all, the aresol kind you spray on and dont touch, not the pump spray wipe stuff. But i spray it on and work dirty areas with a toothbrush and then wipe the surface with a rag. This stuff also works great on the metal control panel. This amp looks like new now and sounds better than my Palamino sounded.I got rid of my USA Palamino because my friend had the Made in Vietnam version and it sounded way better than mine.No pics but just google the amp.I am a happy camper, this is a great bedroom amp.

Hey Post Toastie. I live in Brea, so I guess that kinda makes us neighbors. Was it one of the pawn shops on Commonwealth?

Is that the one that's on the right hand side going south, past the Carl's Junior headquarters? If so, I've been in there a couple of times and didn't see anything interesting. I didn't know that the pawn shops in down town Fullerton are all gone. Too bad.

Ooops....Sorry about the mix up on the street. Yes, there appears to be one on Harbor, south of the 91 Freeway on the west side of the street. I's not too much further than Carl's HQ. I think it's next to a medical supply store. I haven't been in it, which is why I asked you if that was the one you bought the amp from. Let me know what you think if you check it out.
