Amp noise - ticking and beeping

I had an annoying ticking followed by a series of beeps coming out of my Tech 21 60W amp. After trying my Tech 21 10W amp, I got the same noise. I turned off everything in the room (wall warts too) and no change. It was by accident I discovered that the signal was coming from my cell phone. I hope this helps anyone out there who has the same problem. I even noticed that the time clock in my digital watch would send a ticking through the amp via the pickups.

Same here! I figured out the cell phone problem several years ago, but it was really a PITA until I figured out what it was.
