Newbie advice please

Good afternoon,

I'm ready to take the plunge and install some of the Billm mods on my Blues Jr. Any and all advice you veterans can provide will be greatly appreciated. Real basic stuff from what kind of gun I should use, tips, solder, techniques, etc. Perhaps a recommendation of books or videos.
