What Acoustic does a Tele guy buy?

:?: Guys: I fell in love with the Clapton model with V neck etc. Is it a smaller body? Anything similar to Clapton model but cheaper in Martin Line. I like the smaller body and V neck if possible. I'm looking to buy an acoustic soon and would appreciate your feedback. Martin or anyother line. Willing to spend $1000.
