OK, Telecaster Nr. 1 comes in at $179,92 total. I think I've gotten all the numbers in here and added it up correctly (I kept all the receipts just in case :wink:). I haven't put in anything for the wood as it was basically firewood given to me for free. A quick check of ebay prices for firewood here shows that it would have cost between two to five Euros for 30 Kg. So we're talking a maximum of about 0,80 €, or a dollar and some change. Rounding up to $2,00 only brings the total up to $181,92.
Please note that most of the Euro prices in the attached list are with 19% sales tax, which my spreadsheet conveniently calculated out for me before it did the conversion to dollars. Also, since this is Europe, they use commas for decimals instead of periods. (They're just trying to confuse me, and it's working! :confused:)
Time to figure out the second one! :cool:

Telecaster Nr. 2 Costs: Selling Telecaster Nr. 1 generated $2645,72 which we can apply as a negative cost against Telecaster Nr. 2 (Thanks to Mr. Rock Bottom for pointing that out!). This gives us a grand total of -$2324,93. So although we spent over $300 on Telecaster Nr. 2, we're still well under our budget limit of $210!!!! :mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen:

Tuuur - Thanks! :grin::grin::grin:
Scooter91 - I was going to build another one this afternoon but the Tax Department is after me for my first quarter tax return. If I get that out of the way before six though maybe I'll give it a shot! :grin:

Well, it's been a long and intense two months! But no matter how the voting goes it's been worth every minute of it! I've met a lot of great people here and seen some really incredible designs and craftsmanship, especially from the people for whom this is all something new and different. I'm looking forward to seeing you all here in the future!!! :grin::grin::grin::grin:
