A little while ago I sent a hunk-o-pine and a neck out to my buddy Steve "Buckocaster51" Dikkers. You know this guy:

So after the excitement of seeing it for the first time it was time to get excited about what to put in it!

But first a few more pics of the fantastic paint job Steve did!

Your trademark checker board binding is outstanding Steve!

Lindy Fralin "Stock Tele" pickup.

"TaipanTone" Aluminum knobs custom made by my pal Vince Stadler. I also used a brushed steel neck plate from Vince as well.

All wired up with the "cocked wah mod" since I am doing the Esquire style. I really am digging the Esquire set up lately. Converted Ol' Piney over to an E too.

That is beauuuuuuuuutiful! I love Don Rich, and that is something he would play.

Steve's paint job is just spectacular.

I love the way Vince's aluminum knurled knobs look over a chromed control plate. Never thought of that combo. I think it looks great and would be super highly recommended for Teles or Esquires needing a wee bit of weight reduction.

Sparkly goodness.

I really like those titanium glendale saddles, I just wish they weren't 100$ a set.
